Well, in brief...I left HS not knowing what I wanted to do but went to UWM for a year or so then decided to change over to MATC where I obtained my degree in Interior Design. I worked at a lighting gallery and soon married my first huband at the ripe age of 22 (not recommended).During this time I went to cosmetology school and got my license and worked at salons doing nail care services for a time. My daughter soon came along and I stayed home with her until I could not longer live in the unhealthy marriage I was in after 10 years, and moved back home with my family.
I have been in the Meno Falls/Germantown area most of my life and still call it home. I went back to school to take computer classes which soon landed me a job at my current employer as an inside Sales Associate for a company that manufacturers pedicure spas for salons.
The best part....I did finally met the right man during all this and we have been married for nearly 5 wonderful years- my true sole mate. He has 3 elder children in their 20's (one of them married) and we decided that 4 between us was not enough and brought our daughter "Mia" into the world last March--WOW (yeah kind of a suprise)!
Doing the mom thing at 38 is a lot harder than doing it at 28, I can tell you that! We have a busy life and try to live it to the fullest. I am still in touch with and spend quite a bit of time with friends from HS- especially Jennier Wolters (Eckstein) as we have raised our kids together and are God parents to each others children. I am lucky to still have close friends from those days and blessed to be in the life I have.
Looking forward to catching up with some lost friends at the reunion.
(Oh and I think Tiffany Brandt and I were tied for the most absent days in school :) )
