Comments:

After college I moved up north to Marshfield and taught high school, middle school art at a small private school. My mom became ill and I moved back home to send the last days with her.

My landlord introduced me to John and I moved to Pewaukee and we married 3 years later. John started a trucking companyStrieter Farm Truck Service in 1999 with one truck and today we have 10. After I had Sam we decided that I would stay home and run the paper side of the business and raise the children. They are the greatest part of our lives. I can't imagine life without them.

About 1 week after Sam was born we moved out to Watertown to a 30 acre farm. Along with the trucking company we raise beef cows and chickens for meat and eggs. We are trying to become as organic as we can.

I love it out here. Our driveway is 1/4 of a mile off a very little traveled road. It's a great place and life to raise my kids. I can't wait for 4H to start and FFA.

Sorry we can't make it to the Reunion. My husband family is have a family reunion up north that weekend. It would have been great to see everyone.

Favorite Memories from School:

I remember hanging out in the art room and trying to be as good as everyone else but just getting by.

I also remember Wed mornings when German club brought in doughtnuts and I couldn't wait to get one with the cream filling and a chocolate milk. Not these days. I stay as far away from doughtnuts as I can.
